We are pleased to announce a new series titled Women of Faith in the Latter Days. Although roughly half the people in the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been women, their lives of faith and dedication have not always received the attention they deserve. This seven-volume series aims to enhance awareness of these women through inspirational vignettes that point to works dealing more fully with their lives.

Please visit our Series Overview page for the basic plan of this multi-year, multi-volume project. With a planned publication in 2011, Volume 1 will detail the lives of Latter-day Saint women born before or in 1820. If you would like to contribute to this project, please review our Anatomy of a Chapter and Submitting a Proposal pages.

The proposal submission period for Volumes 1 and 2 has ended and we express gratitude to those who have contributed. From Volume 3 forward the annual deadline for submissions will be June 1 of each year through 2016 (i.e. the deadline for Volume 4 is June 1, 2013; Volume 5 is June 1, 2014 and so on).

The proposal deadline for Volume 3 is June 1, 2012.

Please be aware that proposals for later volumes will not be reviewed until after the appropriate annual deadline.
